This topsy-turvy station challenges children to see the physics of optical illusions. Children discover optical illusions as a twisting coil climbs up and down without moving, and when a towel turns into a dog! Children manipulate flexible mirrors and explore the world with inverted vision. Hands-on laminates provide children the opportunity to create their own illusions.
Dry Ice Storm
Ever wondered how the infamous fog effect is generated? You guessed it…dry ice! Not only is this extremely cold form of carbon dioxide good at fogging up a room, it is also used to illustrate several other cool effects. Children learn all of the chilling facts behind dry ice, in addition to conjuring up a few magical potions using the element itself.
Slippery Science Center
It's ooey. It's gooey. Discover the ooey gooey origins of plastic and see why plastic is so hard to break. Kids make their own slippery slime to go! Our most popular Fun Station!

It’s hair-raising fun with our electrostatic Van der Graaf generator! It is shocking how much fun it is!
