Galaxy Defenders

Take a trip into the galaxy! Campers will learn about the history of space travel and how some space vehicles work. They will use stomp rockets, water rockets and engine powered rockets to explore the physics of flight. This camp will introduce children to and show them how amazing our Milky Way is. Leave camp with your own rocket.

Crazy Chemworks

Children will both learn and apply the concepts, tools and techniques of real chemists! Campers will learn real lab techniques and safety procedures, and use these throughout the week. They will experiment with super-sticky-stuff, explore glow-in-the-dark technology, mix potions, make slime, and grow crystals! Each camper will take home a full set of Mad Science lab gear!

Creature Features

At Creature Features camp, campers age 4-6 become wildlife experts as they learn all about their favorite furry, feathery, slimy and scaly friends! We’ll have fun with songs, games, and crafts as we go on bird watching expeditions, become Frog Princes and Princesses as we study our Freshwater Friends and transform into brave explorers as we dive into the world of sharks! It’s going to be WILD!

"Make It" Camp

This summer, young creators will build, test, and make their way through science! In “Make It” Camp, kids dive into the amazing world of Earth, nature, and engineering. Through hands-on projects, experiments, and creative challenges, they’ll learn what makes our planet work — from living things and their habitats to human inventions that help us thrive.

Eureka!

A camp for Inventors! Children will overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors and the most important of all – their mind. With a little bit of ingenuity children will create aircrafts, construct working light sticks to take home and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light bulbs. This camp is 100% FUN!

Guts, Goo and Gross Science

Use your skills as a creepy chemist to make your own radically gross reactions with batteries, coins, and more! Make "brain goo" and check out your bones as your travel the organ trail. Discover cool and yucky chemical reactions and how to solve a crime in this hands-on science adventure! Wings and Things

Long before our skies were filled with superheroes saving the day, there were birds, there were planes, and there were… Mad Scientists! From the earliest flying machines to the first rocket flights, this hands-on program will allow campers to build many different flying devices. Junior test pilots will launch a variety of flying machines. You are cleared for takeoff!

Little Sprouts Science Lab

In this fun hands-on camp week, preschoolers will discover how, why, and where things grow, how weather affects our gardens and the basic science of seeds. They will also get acquainted with the many “creepy crawly” inhabitants of the garden & how those insects help make gardens so beautiful!

Newton's Playground

Where science, play, and motion collide! Campers dive into the exciting world of physics as they explore gravity, inertia, and force through hands-on experiments and creative challenges. From launching recycled rockets to designing motion-powered machines, kids will build, test, and discover how movement shapes the world around us—all while having a blast!

NASA Journey into Outer Space

Take a voyage of discovery into the atmosphere and beyond! Explore planets, moons and other space phenomena in our solar system. Discover the difficulties of space travel, the challenges of living in space and try assembling a satellite while training to be an astronaut. Build your own Mad Science rocket and launch several with the group. All material developed by Mad Science and NASA.

Rise of the Robots

Join us for a week of fun with amazing robots! Learn about the uses of robots in our world and spend time experimenting with super cool, red-hot robots. Experiment with sound-sensing robots, line-tracking robots, amphibious robots, and robots that can even play soccer! Discover the science of circuits and use your skills to build your very own working robot to take home to “live” with you.

Launch Academy

Mad Science invites you to launch your knowledge of rockets in our exciting rocketry camp. Our aspiring rocket scientists master the model rocket safety code and are cleared for launch! In this camp, students will focus solely on rockets and the physics of rocket flight. Young rocket scientists will build multiple designs and participate in daily launches. Houston…We have lift-off!

Secret Agent Lab

Step into the shoes of a detective at our Secret Agent Headquarters—uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis. What happens to all of the evidence field agents collect? Explore forensic science through the eyes of both a detective and spy. Are detectives really scientists in disguise? Use your skills of listening, testing, and observation during this week of detection.

Shipwreck Island

Children explore a "deserted island" where they must work together to create a plan for collecting food and water, build shelters, bridges and more! They use the tools at hand to write messages to send in a bottle and witness a volcanic eruption. The children eventually design a means to escape the island and come home.

Spy Academy

Look out 007—the Mad Science spy academy is in session! Use your powers of observation to solve problems and uncover crimes. Check out security systems, cool spy equipment, and discover proper procedures that are used in real crime scene labs! Mad Science Spy Academy camp will help you sharpen your special operative skills as you learn about the secret world of espionage.

STEAM Camp: Design, Build, Create

STEM meets Art in our exciting S.T.E.A.M. Camp. Do you love to build, design and fix things? Put on your engineer's hat for this exciting week, where we will assemble and work with a variety of simple machines, structures and more! Become a true Mad Scientist as you learn about chemical reactions, and a young astronaut while exploring the mysteries of the solar system.

AstroInnovators Camp in collaboration with NASA

Campers become NASA innovators—designing mission patches, training like astronauts, and tackling real engineering challenges. Using creativity and teamwork, they’ll adapt NASA technology into new designs, record ideas in design notebooks, and spark imagination as they shoot for the stars!
